Bio Picture Bill Landrum
Vocals and Bass

For 33 years Bill Landrum was the bass player and vocalist for Wichita's favorite cover band, Lotus. 


He's toured with Martina McBride, Freddie Jackson, RFO Blues, and many others. He's played and sang with Tin Ear, Lick, Guys, and Square One.


Bill brings all these experiences to every School of Rock student that he teaches.

Bio Picture Marty Bowie
Keys, Flute

Marty Bowie has played with world famous musicians like Kurt Carr and Lou Rawls. Besides teaching keys at the Wichita School of Rock, he spends his time as choir director for his church, and produces music ranging from hip-hop to gospel.

Bio Picture Clay Vernon
Guitar, Drums and Percussion

Clay is from Concordia, Kansas. After studying guitar with Clint Tate and drums with Dean Kranzler, he earned a Master of Composition and Theory degree from the University of New Mexico.  He now lives in Wichita where he produces music for bands and enterprises. His commercial work can be heard at

Bio Picture Aaron Epp
Guitar and Bass

Aaron started playing guitar at age 13, and joined his first band that same year. He has been performing live ever since. His playing has been influenced by bands like Pantera, Animals As Leaders, Fear Factory, and TOOL. He has been in bands like Orchids, Anti-Bacterial Cereal, and Continent of Ash. He has been teaching guitar and bass in Wichita for the past twelve years, including working exclusively with the Wichita Collegiate School. Aaron has also been with School of Rock for the past two years.  

Bio Picture Kimberly Bowie
Vocal Instructor/ House Band Director

Kimberly Bowie is from Wichita,Ks. She started singing in church at 4 years old and at 18, spread her wings to explore other types of music. She is classically trained and has studied under the leadership of Broadway Star Karla Burns. Kimberly is well versed in music from all genres, singing Jazz standards from the 30's and 40's to Neo-Soul and even Hard Rock. She is currently in two bands with her husband, Infinite Layers ( Funk/ R&B) and 88 Diamonds ( Jazz/ Neo Soul) . She is a vocal powerhouse, and proud of it !!

Bio Picture Connor Edmundson
Drum Instructor

Connor started playing drums at age 12. He joined his first band was he was 14, and played gigs all around the Wichita area until he was 16 which is when he started touring. He went to McNally Smith College of Music at age 18 and studied percussion. He is currently in the band Ages, which are on hiatus. He has been a drum teacher at the School of Rock in Wichita for two years.

Bio Picture Trevor Nagai-Most
Guitar Instructor

Trevor has played guitar for around 9 years now, started when he was 14. He is a huge fan post-hardcore music but he respects and loves all sorts of music. Some bands he has been influenced by are Dear Skeptic and Behind the Solution. His biggest influences are Bullet for My Valentine, Eyes Set to Kill, Bring Me The Horizon. Trevor has been teaching guitar at School of Rock for a year.

Guitar Instructor

Austin Schroeder is a is buisiness student at Wichita State University. He loves to play guitar and shares his passion for it with his students. Austin is heavily influenced by Paul Gilbert, and Steve Vai. He is also the first teacher we have who is a former School of Rock student.
